Welcome to Norwell Girls Softball!

 The mission of the Norwell Girls Softball Association is to provide an inclusive atmosphere for girls of all skill levels and abilities to learn the game of softball.

​

The league is broken into 4 divisions described below for the spring league. Players of all abilities are welcome and will be placed on a team in the Spring. The Summer league is a competitive league with tryouts for our teams in the 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U Divisions.

Intrusctional Grades K-1

These players work with NGS parents, former players and Norwell High School softball players to develop skills in throwing, fielding and hitting. There are no games at this level.

Grades 2-3 (Division 1)

These players will participate in travel as well as in-town games (coach pitch). Games are twice weekly and practices are at the coaches' discretion. Games are played in Norwell, Hingham, Scituate and Cohasset. (3 days a week: 2 games/1 practice)

Grades 4-5 (Division 2)

These players will participate in travel as well as in-town games. Games are twice weekly and practices are at the coaches' discretion. Games are played in Norwell, Hingham, Scituate and Cohasset. (3 days a week: 2 games/1 practice)

Grades 6-8 (Division 3)

These players will participate in travel as well as in-town games. Games are twice weekly and practices are at the coaches' discretion. Games are played in Norwell, Hingham, Scituate and Cohasset. (3 days a week: 2 games/1 practice)
